Practices
These are the practices we hold. Each comes from a lineage, and we say which one.
Meditation. Zazen (Soto Zen) and Christian contemplative prayer. Sitting, breathing, returning.
Chant. Kirtan (Bhakti) and Christian chant. The voice as a path to the heart.
Ritual. Altar-building, threshold ceremonies, seasonal rites. Making the inner passage visible.
Devotional movement. Embodied practice: walking meditation, prostration, dance. Always by consent, always with an option to sit.
Study. Reading the wisdom texts of many traditions closely and together.
Spiritual mentorship. One-to-one accompaniment across a crossing.
Land practices. Offered only by, and with, the Indigenous keepers of the practices and the land. [Attribution and consent to confirm.]
Access note: every practice is invitational. You can pause, sit out, or leave at any time without explanation.
